The Langhe and Roero hills encompass one of the most respected and renowned areas in Italy for the production of quality food and wine. Within the local Piedmontese culture, it is considered a sort of art form.
White truffles, mushrooms, hazelnuts, and Barolo and Barbaresco wines from the area are highly appreciated around the world among enthusiasts of excellent food and wine.
The unique characteristics of the raw materials and the ability to transform them into traditional recipes inspired us to create a place where people could enjoy the flavors of traditional Piedmontese cuisine made with simple, yet refined, ingredients from the area.
This is La Piola, a word meaning trattoria in the Piedmontese dialect, a comfortable and relaxing place similar to where our grandparents might have met to enjoy a dish of freshly made pasta or chat with friends over a game of cards. |
